An alumnus of the Belfast School of Art, he brings a unique perspective to contemporary Irish culture through his creative practice.

For this edition Lyndsey chats with Karen Nickell - a textile historian and educator from Northern Ireland whose research explores the intersections of embroidery, education and community. Her seminal thesis, Embroidery in the Expanded Field (2014), has made a significant contribution to the field and has inspired new research into Irish embroidery.
